Sara Raza frequently participates in a variety of speaking opportunities such as lectures and panels for formal and informal educational learning environments. She teachers on the MA programs for the School of Visual Arts and New York University’s Interactive Telecommunications Program and was previously a curator of public programs at Tate Modern and head of education at YARAT. Sara’s research spans global contemporary art, exhibition making, collecting practices, emergent technology, informal architectures, Continental philosophy and Indigenous Islamic science, and post-colonial discourse, pertaining to the Middle East and North Africa and Soviet Orientalism in Central Asia and the Caucasus.
